Department of Chemistry = Department of Excellence 2023-2027
The Department of Chemistry has been selected among the best in Italy, resulting in the winner of the five-year funding fund (2023-2027) of the Departments of Excellence of Italian Universities.
The aim of the fund is strengthen and enhance the excellence of research, with investments in human capital, infrastructures and highly qualified educational activities.
The winning project Chemistry 4.0 is aimed at introducing new research methodologies that permanently link the evolution of knowledge in the chemical sciences with the main technologies of the digital transition underway, with a direct impact on the realization of the ecological and energy transition.
On the podium, with our Department, also the Departments of Molecular Biotechnology and Health Sciences, Clinical and Biological Sciences, Oncology, “Rita Levi Montalcini” Neurosciences, Historical Studies, Law, Economic-Social Sciences and Mathematics-Statistics.
